When Trump is the Republican nominee: What will the GOP do?
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has been accused of being anti-Semitic, for the record.
Here’s what you need to know about the man behind the #NeverTrump movement.
1 / 19 / 20 The Republican National Committee (RNC) announced on Thursday that Trump’s anti-Semitism platform would not be included in the party’s platform.
The Republican Party of Texas, for example, said in a statement that it is “deeply disappointed that the RNC does not take seriously the views of the Trump campaign about Israel.”
Trump has faced backlash for the platform’s inclusion of his views, but his campaign has denied that his anti-Israel stance was a factor in the platform.
In addition, a tweet from the Trump Campaign claimed that the platform is “completely consistent with the views we have expressed for the last 8 years.”
The platform’s omission of anti-Israeli rhetoric from the platform was first reported by Breitbart Texas.
